When you click on each POI to add information in step 9, copy the lat/lon coordinates from the POI detail window and paste it to the search box in Google Earth. I don't know why they just don't fully open up their file format since the free maps and the community around them are a huge reason to buy a Garmin device over a Delorme, Magellan, and so forth.

There is no saving, it does that automatically.Ĩ: Once all of the waypoints are added, go to file, and hit export (NC BBQ). Basecamp appears to me to be Garmin's half assed attempt to rebottle the genie once people backwards engineered how to make.
